Commenter notes karmic justice in Miami—watch out, Honolulu

by Larry Geller

Lots of comments posted to my DailyKos article last night. I thought these two were especially good.

  • Karmic justice needed to open their eyes

I remember eons ago when Miami did something similar to their homeless trying to clean things up. Possessions were tossed into the ocean, including their medications. It was heart wrenching. Then Hurricane Andrew hit. Suddenly there were a lot more homeless. They need to realize that even they can become homeless in an instant.

    • It was like an offering...

"Poseidon, Sir, we just got this strange offering from the Florida office."

"Let's see... some old clothes, some bags... well, this is something, I suppose. Look at these photographs. They must have been the last threads someone had to a previous season of their life."

"Poseidon, Sir, that's what the assay office said. It must be a mistake, Sir, or some kind of prank."

"Hmm... Is that Swedish knave Loki around again?"

"No, Sir. However, the intelligence office reports that some politicians were involved."

"You know, I haven't been feeling well recently. Let's drop another hurricane on Florida."

      "Yes, Sir."
