What do bloggers eat?

by Larry Geller

On Fridays, without fail, Ian Lind posts his Feline Friday articles. I’m sure many readers who have no interest in politics flock to ilind.net just to see his latest cat pics.

He also posts great things he cooks up for dinner sometimes.

Over here at Disappeared News Central we have no cats to boost our page views, though we’re cat friendly and have raised 17 of ‘em in the past.

ika nattoBut we do eat well. In fact, very well, if I may say so myself. While I can do a little bit at breakfast time, Nanette is the star in the kitchen, and the stories and pics are all over at Free Range Gourmet. Click over there, but be careful not to drool on your keyboard.

Nanette reveals the local sources for all ingredients, generally one of the vendors at the Saturday KCC Farmers Market. Aside from the popular emphasis on buying locally, if you want the freshest fruits or vegetables, crisp, fragrant, fresh on the tongue, the supermarket just doesn’t hold a candle to the produce at the farmers market. Much of it is picked the same day it is put out for sale. Plus, you can ask the farmer about it, where it came from, how was it grown, and so forth.

Click over there to find out why dishes like this one are eaten tomorrow, 7/10, in Japan. Or can you guess from the mouseover?
