Great clean elections amendment needs your support right away

Can it happen?
Rep. Berg is planning to introduce a floor amendment today (probably at the end of today’s session) to HB 128 that would really save the day. And yes, I’d like to ask you to email in support. Right away!
Here’s what it will do:
1) It will limit corporate contributions to $1,000 per election period!
2) It will restore the limitations on contributions by government contractors!
Restoring the limits on contractors is a great thing. Without that, the bill invites pay-to-play corruption. Rep. Berg would like to fix this, it seems.
Please email reps@capitol.hawaii.gov and ask them to vote YES on Floor Amendment 16 that amends House Bill 128.
