Disappeared response: judges pay request not a slap at Lingle

The Judiciary responded to yesterday’s Honolulu Advertiser story, Hawaii judges want 10% raise, despite call for salary freeze.
Read all about it…in the Garden Island’s front page story today, or on KPUA Hilo’s web page. We on Oahu are still deprived of this news since neither daily paper has carried it.
Interestingly, the Garden Island story in print is longer than they posted on the web. They followed the web AP content with “Still, it was a tough day for the judges, if reader comments on the Advertiser’s Web site were any measure,” followed by a number of critical reader comments, continued off onto inside page A6.
