Whoopie to McCain: Should I have to worry about becoming a slave?

by Larry Geller

No softball for McCain here, very worth a few minutes of your time to view (click on pic) (the second video is real short, but powerful IMHO) (now, how come the corporate media is not asking the same questions of this guy? Hmm?):

Whoopie

(article from Alternet contains two videos)

Perhaps because of this particular audience, McCain all but evaded the direct question about whether he would overturn Roe vs. Wade:

“What we’d be doing is nominating justices to the Supreme Court and other courts who strictly interpret Constitution,” McCain said. “We would not impose a litmus test on any issue.”

On his website, though, his position is clear:

John McCain believes Roe v. Wade is a flawed decision that must be overturned, and as president he will nominate judges who understand that courts should not be in the business of legislating from the bench.

[For you trivia fans, hearing “We would not impose a litmus test on any issue,” do you know what “litmus” is, and where it comes from?]

Comments:

Whoopie's not too up on her constitutional law. Thirteenth Amendment ring a bell, anyone?
