Hawaii case against Governor's emergency proclamation heard by state Supreme Court

The article, by Jeremy Yurow, Hawaii governor defends emergency housing powers at state Supreme Court, describes a challenge filed in August 2023 to Governor Josh Green's emergency proclamation to expand affordable housing opportunities in Hawaii. The challenge echos similar actions recently filed across the country challenging many of President Trump's emergency declarations.
