Honolulu’s train, 2060: Express service to the beach

This week’s (July 6) New Yorker cover is a picture worth the proverbial 1,000 words. It suggests an innovation for Honolulu—since the rail line Far Rockawayruns along Nimitz Highway, and since that will eventually be under water, make it a feature, not a fault.
