Got ethics? Join Ethics or Campaign Spending commissions

by Larry Geller

What—you don’t like the way government operates in Hawaii?

Be part of the solution.

And it doesn’t matter whether you live on Oahu or not. You can become a member of the Ethics Commission or the Campaign Spending Commission even if you live in middle of a lava field.

Well, it does matter, I guess, if you want to attend the briefing announced in the flyer on the left (click for larger).  It will be held on Thursday, April 18, 5-6 p.m. at the Lt. Governor’s office on the 5th Floor of the State Capitol.

Maybe one day these meetings will be streamed to the lava fields. Don’t let that stop you if you’re interested in joining one of these commissions. Find out how to apply, and do it.

Requiring those Captcha codes at least temporarily, in the hopes that it quells the flood of comment spam I've been receiving.
