Hawaii Reporter: Underage sex trafficking in Honolulu

by Larry Geller

Check out the video below. Hawaii Reporter editor Malia Zimmerman continues to expose human trafficking in Hawaii—in this instance, child trafficking. The video below is part 1. Malia marched with her cameraperson right into an alleged brothel to confront them.

The scene is in a building we in Honolulu are very familiar with. Malia also tracked down the owner and lease holder of the property.

Despite the exposé of the extent of human trafficking in Hawaii, the commercial media have not picked up the stories. Hawaii Reporter’s articles on trafficking of Laotian farm workers were posted here, but not a peep on the subject in our commercial news outlets. KHON, KITV, KGMB, Star-Advertiser, where are you?

Comments:

KHON, KITV, KGMB, Star-Advertiser, where are you? How about FBI, US Attorney? where are you?... oh I forgot they're busy keeping Roger Christie off the streets for telling people to smoke pot religiously.

Yes. And we can throw in the HPD. Hawaii has this shiny new anti-trafficking law, but along with laws against speeding, etc., it doesn't seem to be enforced.

They're too busy growing pot in their girlfriends' closets to worry about human trafficing.
