Pedestrians Beware !!
Walking down the street and dodging an obstacle, I was almost run down by a segway-like device speeding down the sidewalk. The driver was moving in an erratic pattern, for the fun of it.
New silent electric cars and trucks may increase car-pedestrian accidents.
The city is considering removing pedestrian crossing sites along the Pali Highway.
Could the solution be to encase people in gas-guzzling, greenhouse-gas emitting Hummers?

I can't believe that those things are allowed on sidewalks - but bikes (wisely) aren't. Ah, lobbying!
A heedless operator on a spree could easily kill or disable a senior, young child, or ANYONE!
