Kauai dedicates green energy hydro

Yes, Virginia, there are other island besides Oahu, and all progress doesn’t originate here. Today’s Star-Bulletin breaking news reports on the dedication of a hydroelectric plant on Kauai.
When it happens, it should be celebrated.

The article describes how they did it. Given the water, it doesn’t sound so complicated. And no big, noisy intrusive wind turbines are involved.
