Town Square audio interview with auditor Marion Higa available for download

The Town Square interview with Marion Higa that aired April 1 is available for download from the Hawaii Public Radio archive page, or here is the direct link (right-click and save, unless you’re on an iPad…). If you want a copy, get it soon, they take the recordings off after awhile.
Host Beth-Ann Kozlovich clarified with Higa the role of the Legislative Auditor, and at around 23 minutes 9 seconds in the recording (just push the slider along if you want to go directly there) they went to the current controversy over the Department of Budget and Finance audit.
I haven’t heard a better explication of the issue. If you have been confused by the Governor’s attacks and would like to hear the fact-base of this issue, grab that audio file. The after-show conversation was even more detailed, but darn, those are never recorded.
