A Company isn't green because a greenwashing industry front group says they are

The native community just won a 12 year legal fight to protect their land

IOI, a Malaysian palm oil company producer serving markets in 65 countries, is a founding member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).

The RSPO said IOI "had acted responsibly for the management of land in Sarawak."

The Court agreed with the community.

HECO was planning to import RSPO-approved palm oil to burn in their new power plant in Campbell Industrial Park. After we stopped them at the Public Utilities Commission, HECO opted to using waste oil and waste grease biodiesel  from Texas.

HECO has just filed a RFP seeking a local supplier of biodiesel
