KITV reports only two vendors attend rat classes

by Larry Geller

Out of 22 vendors, only two showed up, according to this KITV report tonight.

The vendors say they want business to come back.

"Our main focus really is to make Chinatown a more viable place in which to shop, to eat and to visit," said Wesley Fong, a training session coordinator.

Ok, fair enough. But should business come back if the vendors don’t care enough to show up for the Department of Health classes?

KITV reports progress in closing holes and removing walls behind which rats hide. That’s good news. Good for vendors and good for shoppers.
