Hawaiian burial desecration issues on KKCR today at 5 p.m.

The Naue burial desecration issue is still ongoing on Kauai (see coverage on Joan Conrow’s blog KauaiEclectic), but what happens there could very well affect all islands. Yup, even us over here on Oahu. Aside from that, this is a social justice issue that deserves to have island-wide attention.
Jimmy Trujillo and Joan Conrow will discuss the issues including the dispute over Joe Brescia’s house at Naue today, Monday, July 6, 2009, 5-6 p.m., on KKCR, 91.9 or 90.9 FM on Kauai, or streaming on-line at kkcr.org anywhere.
Guests will include former members of the Kauai-Niihau Island Burial Council and and Puanani Rogers.
