Hawaii Superferry, State, back in court on Thursday

by Larry Geller

So many blogs…. so little time to read… but this one has always been worth it. Thanks to Dick Mayer for pointing to this post on inversecondemnation.com. It has details and links to documents for Thursday’s oral arguments before the Hawaii Supreme Court in the ongoing Hawaii Superferry litigation.

Yes, it’s not over.On Thursday the Sierra Club, Maui Tomorrow, and the Kahului Harbor Coalition will try to convince the Court that Act 2, passed to in 2007 in a special legislative session, is unconstitutional.

If you’re home at a computer on Thursday or bored at work, tune in at 9:00 a.m. to inversecondemnation.com for live-blogging (if possible) of the courtroom events.

P.S. Scroll down past the Superferry article to read about the ceded land case. Or click here.
