Daily papers release draft Superferry bill

by Larry Geller

Both newspapers link to a recent draft bill on their websites. The Advertiser has a convenient pdf here. The story is Hawaii Superferry bill shields state on liability. The print paper mentions that the draft is on their website. This is very good, it means that more people will be able to see what has been going on in the dark corridors of the State Capitol.

Notice the breaker towards the end, Ferry officers pleased. They should be. Read the draft.

The Star-Bulletin also posted the draft as a series of fuzzy jpegs included in this article. The SB images look like they were snatched with a digital camera, so probably their heart is in the right place. They could do worse than just cop the Advertiser's pdf and post it, though, since the individual images are hard to read.
