Final call to action issued for Tuesday morning on SB1171
Tomorrow is the last day to influence legislators. Here’s a rally notice circulated by email from Hawaii Thousand Friends. It’s a bit hard to read, but seems to indicate that protestors should assemble at 8:30 a.m. at the 2nd floor of the State Capitol.
SB 1171, which allows project construction to begin before an archaeological inventory has been completed. Thus, the total impact of a project on `iwi, cultural and historical sites will never be known.
