Archbishop Desmond Tutu to visit Oahu this weekend—live streaming coverage

by Larry Geller

The Cathedral of Saint Andrew will be hosting several events in conjunction with the visit of Nobel Peace Prize winner Achbishop Desmond Tutu this weekend.

Last night it was announced that there would be live video streaming coverage from the Cathedral of Saint Andrew website. Neither the website nor the event website have been updated yet to indicated video streaming—the announcement was sent in an email to those on their mailing list yesterday.

For detailed information on the events, see the event website.

If well done, streaming video could give viewers quite a good experience—often with better visibility than those in back of the long cathedral will have, for example.  Of course, nothing replaces being present in person, but it is very generous of the Episcopal Diocese of Honolulu to share his visit via video.
