Hearing today on sexual assaults at Otter Creek prison and on Kulani

Today the Senate Committee on Public Safety and Military Affairs and the House Committee on Public Safety will hold a joint hearing at 1:30 p.m. in Room 229 of the State Capitol. The hearing will be televised on Olelo on Channel 53 if you can’t make it to the Capitol. It will be live-streamed from Olelo’s website.
The hearing notice lists three topics:
Sexual Abuse/Assault allegations at Otter Creek Correctional Center, Kentucky
· Possibility of Returning Majority of Women Inmates to Kulani Correctional Facility
· Rationale for Removing KCF from State Correctional System
